Warehouse Control System (WCS) VertiNode® by VertiFlex is an open and technology-independent control system for automated logistics, compatible with most warehouse and intralogistics technologies available on the market. Thanks to its modular architecture and wide range of deployment options, VertiNode® enables seamless integration into higher-level business processes and information systems.

VertiNode® provides higher-level systems (e.g. ERP or WMS) with immediate feedback on the progress of order processing. As soon as a picking request is submitted, the system can return the target dispatch position as well as the estimated processing time, enabling timely and accurate communication with the customer during order fulfillment. The status of each order is available through an open API interface, giving the higher-level system continuous visibility into the start, progress, completion, or any delay in dispatch, including the availability of a tracking ID for immediate shipment confirmation. The result is greater transparency, better predictability, and faster delivery.

VertiNode® in the logistics process

In logistics operations, VertiNode® serves as the central control element for automation technologies. It manages individual devices, their peripherals, and related inputs and outputs, including connections to control stations and operating interfaces. At the same time, it is fully prepared for two-way communication with higher-level systems, creating a reliable integration layer between automation technology and the enterprise IT environment.
